As young adults, most of us were probably told “Don’t marry young. Get yourself established first, and be REALLY sure before you get married.” This seemingly helpful advice has caused a lot of teens and single adults to be apprehensive about marriage and forgo the traditional institution for something less risky. What messages are we really sending our children when it comes to relationships and marriage?
