Ever since I was a little girl I can remember following my dad and looking up to him as if he were a superhero. He was there to save me when I'm sad or help me when I fall. My father has always been there for me, and taught me everything I know. Even when I don't agree with him I know that he knows best. One of my special memories of my father is when I was in the first grade. I was new at learning piano. Dad would crouch down beside me, put his hands over mine, and show me how to play. When I was twelve, I got home from summer camp and he said he had a suprise. I closed my eyes and opened. There he was holding a pink guitar for me! The rest of the day was spent showing me chords and once again putting his hands over mine and showing me the way. My dad and I have grown closer as I get older. This past year it was time for basketball to start and I was battling wether to join the team. Dad being the coach, told me that he couldn't make the decesion for me and that it was my decision. To make a long story short I joined the team and had the time of my life going to games with Dad and being a part of his team. My dad has always been there to support me in everything that I do no matter what it took to get there. He always can make me laugh at anytime of the day. He is the smartest man I know and I hope someday I can find a man like him. Dad loves the Lord and lives his life out for him. I always look to him as a great spritual leader in our home. I hope to share more memories and learn much more from my superhero dad!

I am pleased with my father, he is as good as they get, and his name is DeWayne
Ison. He came into my life when we needed a father the most. My daddy is a great
person and shows us so much love and understanding. His smile glows very bright
and makes my soul open up. He means a lot to me and I love him dearly. Let me tell
you why I love him. My daddy is a funny, smart, and a successful man that under-
stands the value of family. He is also a good cook. He served our country for
twenty years and lost most of his vision while serving so he doesn't drive
but he makes sure we have all that we need. He also does all the cooking in our
family while my mom attends school; dinner is always ready when we come home from
school. That is important to a girl like me, but he never forget to ask how my
day been. Also, when I need help with anything he is right there for me. I love
him and admire him. He always put a smile on my face and a sparkle in my eye.
Dad you are beautiful like a star and glow like a sun. You are my shining star.
I look up to a great man that I am proud to call my dad. He has taught me that if
I keep my faith and believe God will anwser my prayers. as he did with you. He have
also taught me the Importance of believing in myself. Dad, I wil love to keep you
in my life. You are that good book that I can't put down.
