Kirk Cameron, known to millions as Mike Seaver from the sitcom Growing Pains, stars in this action packed love story. Cameron plays a fireman who lives by the old firefighter’s adage, never leave your partner behind, but at home, in the cooling embers of his marriage, he lives by his own rules.
Fireproof will have audiences laughing, crying and inching toward the edge of their seats as they are drawn into the world of a firefighter, his wife … and a marriage worth rescuing.

NEW COVENANT FELLOWSHIP CHURCH
New Covenant Fellowship Church will celebrate its 12th Anniversary with “Fireproof Your Family", a weekend of activities focusing on family.
On Friday, Sept. 26, they will host a free private screening of the movie “Fireproof” at the Rave at 7 p.m. A limited amount of free tickets will be available by emailing the church at FireproofWeekend@aol.com.
On Saturday, Sept. 27th the church will host a fun day at its facility located at 1326 North Moore Road from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Activities will include demonstrations on fire safety, fire engine exhibit, and health education, first aid, voters’ registration booth and free hot dogs with all the trimmings.
The festivities will conclude on Sunday, Sept. 28 with sundaes served from 6 to 8 p.m.
New Covenant is also collecting smoke detectors to distribute in the community. Smoke detectors are needed by Sept. 20th.

HICKORY VALLEY CHRISTIAN CHURCH
Hickory Valley Christian Church is hosting a church wide Fireproof campaign this fall. There are tickets available for Tuesday Sept 30th and Wed Oct 1st at Wynnsong. Pastor Dale Lovelady will do a sermon series on marriages and families that will begin on Oct 5th and run for 6 weeks. HVCC will be doing small groups for the Fireproof study that will begin Oct 5th and run for 6 weeks. HVCC will culminate our campaign with a celebration of marriage on Nov 16th. Chattanooga Deanery of Catholic Churches
The Chattanooga Deanery of Catholic Churches are partnering with the Diocesan Office of Family Life and Adult Christian Living to host several movie and dinner date nights for marriage enrichment. The first "Fireproof" movie and dinner date night is scheduled for September 28. Couples will attend a matinee at the Wynnsong Theater and return to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church for a dinner for two. A second movie and dinner date night is in the planning stages.
