In case you missed them here are two of our most popular banquet speakers.
Frank W. Abagnale, Jr., the subject of the movie Catch Me If You Can, shared his poignant story of a young man with so much potential headed down a destructive path who manages to turn his life around before it is too late.
Devastated by his parents’ divorce, Mr. Abagnale (whose premature graying hair made him look 10 years older than his real age) ran away from reality and soon became the world’s greatest con artist. He spent the next five years of his life posing – first as an airline pilot, then as a doctor, and finally as a lawyer.
Years later, Mr. Abagnale helped the FBI detect fraud in some of its toughest cases. He later founded Abagnale and Associates, which advises the business world on fraud.
At a recent graduation ceremony where Mr. Abagnale gave the commencement address, these were his closing words: “Remember what being an adult is: It has nothing to do with money or rewards. A real man loves and is faithful to his wife. You will do nothing greater in your life than be a great spouse and parent.”
