Julie has been with the not for profit since it’s inception in 1997. In addition to overseeing the FTF operations, she conducts trainings and speaks to various communities across the country. You can read her weekly column in the Sunday Chattanooga Times Free Press and see her monthly television show on Chattanooga’s local PBS affiliate, WTCI.

Gary manages the day-to-day operations of FTF.

Eddie Grant, Chief Development Officer egrant@firstthings.org
Eddie serves as the team leader of the Development Department with special emphasis on the coordination, direction and implementation of the FTF Annual Development Plan including annual giving, grants, special events and community partnerships.

Deborah Gunn, Project Director deborah@firstthings.org
Deborah oversees FTF’s Federally funded "Healthy Marriage Demonstration Grant". She oversees grant staff while collaborating with various community organizations and businesses to implement workshops or seminars that encourage and support healthy relationships for; married couples, teens, non-married expectant parents, engaged couples, singles and married couples whose relationships are in distress.

Brandon Strickland, Marketing Manager brandon@firstthings.org
Brandon coordinates media buys, materials requests, sponsorships for FTF advertising and oversees the marketing department. He also serves as the organization's media and public relations contact.

Denise Whitby, Communications Coordinator / Graphic Designer denise@firstthings.org
Denise produces all of FTF’s printed materials and advertising.

Karen Godwin, Office Manager karen@firstthings.org
Karen is the friendly voice you will hear on the other end of the phone when you call FTF. She will assist you in registering for classes and events and is a helpful FTF resource.
