Julie has been with the not for profit since it’s inception in 1997. In addition to overseeing the FTF operations, she conducts trainings and speaks to various communities across the country. You can read her weekly column in the Sunday Chattanooga Times Free Press and see her weekly television show on Chattanooga’s local PBS affiliate, WTCI.

Todd coordinates all fathering efforts within FTF.
Gary Behler, Operations Director gary@firstthings.org
Gary manages the day-to-day operations of FTF.
Eddie Grant, Vice President and Chief Development Officer egrant@firstthings.org
Eddie serves as the team leader of the Development Department with special emphasis on the coordination, direction and implementation of the FTF Annual Development Plan including annual giving, grants, special events and community partnerships.
Karen Godwin, Office Manager karen@firstthings.org
Karen is the friendly voice you will hear on the other end of the phone when you call FTF. She will assist you in registering for classes and events and is a helpful FTF resource.
Deborah Gunn, Project Director deborah@firstthings.org
Deborah oversees FTF’s Federally funded "Healthy Marriage Demonstration Grant". She oversees grant staff while collaborating with various community organizations and businesses to implement workshops or seminars that encourage and support healthy relationships for; married couples, teens, non-married expectant parents, engaged couples, singles and married couples whose relationships are in distress.
Alishea Hixson, Event Coordinator alishea@firstthings.org
Alishea plans and executes various FTF special events and manages all new media for the organization.
Andrea Perry, Marketing Director andrea@firstthings.org
Andrea handles advertising, promotional product inventories and media appearances for First Things First.
Denise Whitby, Graphic Designer denise@firstthings.org
Denise produces all of FTF’s printed materials and advertising.
